Continue your Tile Art journey
Whether you’re creating your first original tile mural or returning to finish a larger project, Open Studio gives you the freedom to experiment, create, and build your skills in an inspiring Tucson art studio.
Open Studio is independent studio access for intermediate and advanced students who have previously attended a Studio C workshop. Unlike our instructor-led beginner classes, Open Studio is designed for artists who are comfortable working more independently and want additional time to create.
You can:
Create hand-glazed trivets, wall art, address signs, and murals
Choose from pre-outlined tile designs or sketch your own artwork
Experiment with wax drawing and custom color palettes
Work on multi-tile projects over multiple sessions
Use professional glazing materials and studio tools
Studio staff will be available to monitor the space and answer occasional questions, but Open Studio is not a guided class.
